A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Prince Ayodele Kusamotu, has urged Nigerians to exercise patience with President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, saying they will soon feel the positive economic impact of his government this year.
Kusamotu made this known in Ikirun while meeting with the people of Boripe/Odo-Otin/Ifelodun federal constituency.
The APC chieftain, who contested for a seat in the House of Representatives during the last general elections in the constituency, maintained that the change promised by Buhari during his campaign is a gradual process.
He also appealed to Nigerians not to be despair with Buhari’s administration, assuring that by the last quarter of 2016, economic situation of Nigeria would have changed positively.
He said: “I will urge Nigerians to be patient with President Buhari in his desire to transform the nation. Yes, he promised change but we should all remember that it is a gradual change.
“Nigerians have started witnessing the change in terms of fight against corruption but by the last quarter of next year, economic impact of Buhari’s administration will be greatly felt. Government will soon pump money into capital projects and this will assist in boosting our economy.”
